Dedicated to both quality and sustainability, Bateau is Sea Creatures' contemporary Capitol Hill steakhouse featuring in-house cuts. Chef Taylor Thornhill's prix-fixe menu centers around grass fed and finished beef accompanied by inventive ingredients, foraged and fermented. Private dinners for groups of up to 16 are hosted in the inviting General Porpoise mezzanine, adjacent to Bateau.

Bateau's main dining room features herringbone wood floors, slate table tops and whitewashed wood siding.  We host buyout dinners for groups of up to 40 in a similar family style manner.
